Street Walking

I wonder where this guy was headed to when I hollered from my car “ You look fab, can you get in the door way so I can snap a pic?”. The hair, shoes, and bag, were just killer and his attitude of total confidence made this outfit rock. The best accessory is confidence. I swear by it.

A Point Of View: Los Angeles

 

 

To get to the Gerry Building or the Cal Mart you have to drive through a lot of muck in LA. Years ago  I noticed that if I take my eyes off the street level there are some pretty amazing old buildings. I collide into people when I am walking through Downtown LA because I am always looking up. It’s so pretty. I wonder about what they were before they became tenements or lofts. Mostly I think about the craftsmen and masons and how they worked before technology and modernism. Such art they created.  There are few pretty new buildings.  Many have the original signage remaining. I have an affection for old signs.  These pics were taken from the car at the end of my VERY long day. Crappy camera + moving car =  These photos.

Oh Boy

This guy wanders in for Art Walk and I thought he looked so casual and handsome on this Winters night. The scarf, the shoes, the hair, it's all so pulled together and easy.

Look Of The Day

The next person to come in the shop had on a waterfall cardi too. Molly looked marvelous.

2 Women, 1 Sweater , 2 Ways

What a surprise it was to see my good friend and artist April walk through to door of the shop this morning. What was more surprising was she and Toni were wearing the same sweater by Totally Brill. April on the left is wearing it waterfall cardigan style and Toni is wearing it as a pullover. You achieve the look by pulling it over you head as if you are taking it off but resting the sweater behind your neck. I love this sweater!!! I'll post how I wear it later this week.

State Of A Dress

I just love this dress. The front, the back, and the way it falls across her body is perfection. Curvy girls can wear things that fit close to the body just keep in mind fabric, shape, and proportions. She's a size 12 (American sizing) and 5'10 without heels.



I may have to have this dress produced. One for me and 3 for the shop!
